"Thorough, Diligent, and Always Accomodating"
"Dear Cristine, This is a long overdue commendation for your team member, Garnet Bass. We recently elicited the support of Garnet Bass to locate a home in the Oceanside area. Unfortunately, due to familial and health concerns, we had to terminate our search and have decided to stay in the Los Angeles area. We wanted you to know how much we so appreciated all the time and effort Garnet put into trying to find the appropriate home for us; our requirement was unusual in that we required a home that would house not only ourselves but a family member in a separate facility (e.g. casita). Garnet worked tirelessly and assiduously and when a separate residence was not available she was creative and found ways that an existing structure could be easily adapted. She was thorough, diligent and always accommodating. Her primary concern was to find the home that would best suit our needs and went to any length to assist us. The superlatives to describe her efforts are too numerous to mention here. Suffice to say that she not only demonstrated her extraordinary abilities as a real estate agent but also her qualities as an exceptional human being. Were we ever ready to find a home in the San Diego area, we certainly would utilize her again. Our only regret was that we were not able to complete our journey to allow Garnet to receive the financial renumeration she so richly deserved."
"Sincerely, Jan and Linda

Remodeling and Renovations >Considering Major Improvements
You have decided that it is time to sell your home. After taking an objective look around, you realize that you have a lot of work to do in order to prepare your home for the market. If it will take more than just cleaning to get your home for showing, it may be time to call in two professionals--a home improvement contractor and a professional real estate agent.
The ideal listing has a modern kitchen and bath, fresh paint, beautiful lighting fixtures and elegant hardwood floors or high-end wall-to-wall carpet. Your real estate agent can offer suggestions about what your house needs, what colors or cabinet styles are popular with buyers, and tips on cost-effective improvements. The contractor can work with you to put your plan into action.
If you feel that the costs or disruption of a major remodeling project would be overwhelming, you have the option of marketing your home as a "fixer-upper." If you decide to sell your home "as is", your agent can prepare a market analysis to give you an idea of what you can expect to net from the sale of your home.
